For so many of us, our horses are woven into the biggest pieces of our lives.

Horses have been a big part of my own life since I was 9 years old, there hasn’t been a day since that they haven’t been on my mind, so I understand how important it is to hold onto those memories. I wish I had more photos of my own childhood ponies.

My goal is to create timeless portraits that celebrate their legacy and become lasting pieces of art you’ll cherish every single day.

I believe their memory deserves more than files hidden away on a screen.
Their portraits deserve to be displayed, loved, and passed down for generations.

They become part of your story,  your comfort, and your heart.

Which kind of session would you prefer?

Studio

Sessoins are held at a location with a large undercover spaces such as brookleigh. Using professional studio lighting and a minimalist backdrop, these sessions are designed to showcase your horse exactly as they are. Every detail, expression, and feature is carefully captured to create striking fine art portraits that celebrate their beauty, character, and place in your heart.

Outdoor

Set against the backdrop of your horse's world, these bespoke portrait sessions combine natural landscapes, beautiful light, and genuine connection to create artwork filled with meaning.

From elegant equine portraits to heartfelt images of horse and rider together, every photograph
is thoughtfully crafted to preserve the memories, emotions, and bond that
deserve to be remembered for a lifetime.

Black Background

Black background portraits are held in the entrance of a stable, shed or barn. We use natural light and shadow to transform your horse into a work of art. Stripped of distractions and surrounded by darkness, their expression, character, and beauty take centre stage.

Using specialised editing techniques, I create bold, dramatic imagery that highlights the details you know and love most. These timeless portraits are designed to become statement pieces—artwork that honours your horse and preserves their legacy for years to come.

I don’t feel safe having my horse loose…

That is no problem at all. Many of the horses you see in my portfolio were never actually standing loose. Your horse's safety and comfort will always come before any photograph.

For portraits that appear "free" or without a visible lead, we use a thin rope and handler positioned safely nearby. During the editing process, the rope and any distractions are carefully removed, creating a seamless final image while ensuring your horse remains secure throughout the session.

There's no need for your horse to have perfect manners or extensive training. Whether they're a seasoned model or a little more opinionated, I work patiently with each horse to create beautiful, natural portraits without compromising their wellbeing.

Ok, so how does it work?

  • Step 1

    Register your interest. It seems simple and it is – simply reach out to select a date or outline a deadline, let me know a little about the subject and share your general location and we can make a plan from there.

  • Step 2

    At this point, I will complete a complimentary consultation either on the phone or via email to gather your wishes into a single, or a few, specific concepts. I will send you a product guide and we will discuss locations and timings, as well as dates and end goals here before moving on

  • Step 3

    Shoot day, my favourite part! after spending 1-2 hours together and we part ways from your shoot the creation commences.

    Within creation is the retouching and post production, where many days are spent carefully working on every inch of the piece to create something truly iconic. At the end of the creation, we’ll then move into…

  • Step 4

    Once your photographs have been carefully edited and perfected, it's time to experience them the way they were meant to be seen.

    We'll arrange a viewing appointment where you can enjoy your finished gallery and take your time selecting your favourite images. Together, we'll explore the artwork and products that best suit your home and style, creating pieces you'll treasure for years to come.

    There is no pressure and no strict timeframe during this appointment. This is your opportunity to enjoy the experience, ask questions, and make decisions at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

  • Step 5

    Here the artwork is passed to our printing partners in the Eastern States where they print, varnish, make and frame the artwork by hand.

    They then package the pieces and deliver it with great care back to us here in Perth.

    Once we have checked the pieces we deliver it to your door or arrange a time for pick up, and you get to enjoy your beautiful artworks for years to come.
